• Oversee 20 to 25 production employees. Achieve manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring job results, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, etc.;
• Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees;
• Maintain work flow by monitoring process steps, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems;
• Fulfill production program, establish priorities, monitor progress, update schedules, resolve problems;
• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques;
• Work with RD to launch new products.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Food Science, Microbiology, B.Sc. or related fields;
• 5 to 10 years of experience in production in the food industry;
• Previous experience as a production supervisor;
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and SQF;
• Good understanding of HR practices, Health and Safety, etc.;
• Able to coach employees;
• Bilingual (spoken and written); good communication skills in both languages.

Production Technician (Microvellum) - ref.21333IG

Our client, an architectural cabinetmaker, is currently looking for a Production Technician using Microvellum.
• Review and correct, if necessary, plans/drawings on Microvellum;
• Perform computerized production start-up;
• Draft program and verify drawings;
• Order various supplies and prepare the material requisitions;

• Perform a variety of tasks on electronic assemblies, including welding, desoldering, wiring and replacing electronic components and subassemblies;

The Production Test Specialist will design, implement, document and deploy the test sequencing and tools required to detect electronic product defects during new product introduction. This includes all software and material requirements for test systems destined for deployment in the production department and at subcontractor sites.
