• Project management according to customer specifications;
• 3D design in Solidworks and CATIA of industrial equipment, worked-metal, machined sheet metal parts and welded assemblies;
• Draft parts for laser cutting;
• Prepare shop and production drawings;
• Prepare cutting and material lists for production;
• Take measurements on site.
• DEC or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering;
• 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position;
• Excellent knowledge of CATIA and Solidworks;

Production Planner/Buyer - ref.21233SB

Our client, a fast growing SME, designs and manufactures custom automated machines for various industries.
• Negotiate and purchase raw material for cutting (plasma and saw);
• Produce work orders for plasma cutting, bending and sawing; and provide necessary drawings for production;
• Nesting to optimize material;
• Plan and organize the internal work of the plasma, folder and saw to ensure on time delivery of work orders;
• Manage the production of assemblies by subcontractors to ensure the best quality at the best price (possibility of inspections at subcontractor sites) while respecting delivery dates;
• Purchasing for the maintenance, machining and health and safety department;
• Continually review the market to identify active sources of supply, and find alternatives to reduce delivery times and operating costs;
• Identify and implement cost-cutting initiatives in the supply chain;
• Publish reports that measure the internal performance of work orders and other procurement activities such as supplier evaluation;
• Quality assurance at supplier level.
• DEC or equivalent in Logistics or Mechanical Engineering;
• 5 to 7 years of pertinent experience in the sheet metal and machinery manufacturing industry;
• Advanced computer skills: MS Office (especially Excel), Pro-Nest and AutoCad;
• Knowledge of engineering concepts and drawings;
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts;
• Very good negotiation skills;
• Bilingual, very good communication skills.

Production Operator (Pharmaceutical) - ref.21187IG

• Measure, weigh and load ingredients according to production formulae;
• Operate production equipment;
• Verify and sample products during production process;
• Mount, dismantle and clean different equipment;
• Compress, encapsulate and print tablets;
• Complete required documentation;
• Participate in the validation of equipment and processes.
• AEC in Pharmaceutical Production an asset;

Our client, a multinational in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Sterile Products Supervisor for the weekend night shift.
• Motivate your team to meet target objectives and establish action plans to meet those objectives;
• Manage employee work schedules;
• Ensure that equipment is operational and available for preventative maintenance/ calibration when required by engineering department;
• Liaise with Quality, Engineering and R and D departments in order to support the team in achieving their goals;
• Manage priorities in order to maintain efficiency and process optimisation to meet organization and team goals;
• Ensure the respect of cGMPs and procedures;
• Responsible for execution of IRs and FIs;
• Complete production documents.
• Bachelors in Science (Microbiology or Biology/Biochemistry or Chemistry if experience in sterile department);
• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment (sterile is preferred), or equivalent using GMP;
• 3 years experience in supervision (unionized environment is an asset).;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong team management capabilities;
• Advanced computer skills (SAP, ERP);
• French speaking and very good English writing, (spoken English is an asset).
Status: Permanent position, weekend shift: Friday 11:45p to 8a, Saturday and Sunday 8p to 8a. 31.25 hours worked, 37.5 hours paid. Night shift annual bonus.
Location: West Island.

CNC Programming Team Lead - ref.21049SN

Our client specializes in the design, manufacture and assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical products with high precision. They are currently looking for a CNC Programming Team Lead.
• Manage and direct the activity of 2 CNC programmers;
• Monitor production;
• Manage estimating and programming activities;
• Prepare quotations and choose the tools;
• CNC programming using Mastercam X;
• Ensure that programs meet the requirements of items to be manufactured;
• Manage machining tooling items (inventory, standardization, etc.);
• Propose changes or modifications to machining methods, as needed.
• 10 to 15 years experience CNC programming on 3 / 4 / 5 axes;
• Experience in managing teams;
• Very good knowledge of Mastercam software (version X at minimum);
• Able to design and manufacture basic jigs and/or fixtures for machining;
• Excellent knowledge of G-code;
• Excellent knowledge of metrology, you will measure your own parts;
• Bilingual.
Location: South Shore.
