Our client designs and manufactures custom machinery. They are looking for a Production Technician/Assembler.
• Assemble, install and fit parts according to drawings;
• Work with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components;
• Verify the quality of sub-assemblies and finished product meets production standards;
• Manage receipts and shipments;
• Place received supplies in the warehouse in accordance with existing inventory system;
• Verify delivered items against supporting documents;

• Ability to read mechanical drawings;
• Experience in mechanical assembly;
• Experience with stock maintenance and control;
• Forklift competency card;

Technical Buyer - ref.21251SB

The Technical Buyer is responsible for generating purchase orders to outside vendors for metal bending, and machined parts. The Buyer will also issue purchase orders to offsite/onsite subcontractors. Interact directly with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure parts quality, price and on time delivery.
• Generate purchase orders for metal bending and machined parts to fulfill production requirements
• Generate purchase orders for subcontractors
• Negotiate pricing and delivery;
• Continually investigate market for active sources of supply, find alternatives to reduce procurement and operating costs;
