• Perform preventive maintenance on piping;
• Perform repairs or piping installations as per plans;
• Measure, cut, weld pipes and metal;
• Perform welding work to manufacture, repair, modify and install various parts related to process equipment;
• Operate lifting devices and equipment, such as hoists and overhead cranes, to set up parts during installation, assembly and repair of equipment;
• Maintain and repair piping systems for water, steam, gas, fuel and chemicals used in the process, cooling, greasing and other industrial processes;
• Read plans, drawings, and interpret piping and component specifications;
• Read P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagram);
