Recruiting and Business Development Consultant

Techaid is a specialized recruitment agency with over 50 years experience meeting client staffing needs by providing permanent and temporary technical personnel.
We are currently looking for a Staffing and Business Development Consultant, client service oriented, versatile and ambitious. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who would like to build a dynamic career with a well established company.

You will be responsible for the entire recruitment process (360).
Business Development (65%):
• Daily telephone prospecting with new and existing clients to understand staffing needs and obtain job orders;
• Identify, develop et retain your client base;
• Develop and maintain your network of contacts (clients and candidates).
Recruiting (35%):
• Post job offers, conduct interviews over the phone and in person, perform reference checks, etc.;
• Find and select the best candidates through your in depth understanding of your clients' needs;
• Follow-up with customers and candidates.
Requirements:
• Bachelor or DEC; (technical training is an asset);
• 2 years or more experience in sales of services, (B2B is a major asset);
• Ability to make cold calls; excellent phone presentation skills (French and English);
• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, or recruiting in a technical environment is a major asset;
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, initiative and autonomy;
• Dynamic, you are known for your drive and tenacity.
Location: Next to Snowdon Metro.
Start: October 2017.
We provide our own bank of 36,000 candidates, database of more than 2000 customers, training and support.
Permanent position (37.5 hours per week). Base salary plus very competitive bonuses (no limit), fringe benefits, 3 weeks vacation (2 weeks + holiday shutdown), paid sick days and more.

Team Lead - Recruiting and Business Development

As a result of continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Recruiting and Business Development to provide leadership, motivation and direction to our team of professionals.
Responsibilities include:
• Direct supervision of staff, client communication and sales support when required;
• Recruit, select and train new consultants;
• Work with staff to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and assess clients’ staffing requirements;
• Ensure that operating procedures and policies are followed by all team members, make recommendations for improvements;
You offer:
• Minimum three years business development experience, including supervision;
• Customer service experience in business services, (preferably recruiting or HR);
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills in French and English;
• A technology related degree and/or certification is a definite plus;
• High level of self-motivation, well organized and detail oriented.
