Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Our client, a designer and manufacturer of custom automated machines, is looking for a Project Engineer, (Mechanical).

• Lead the development of industrial automated equipment concepts;
• Oversee all engineering deliverables related to mechanical design including approval drawings, fabrication drawings, bills of materials, process schemas, etc.;
• Validate and document engineering calculations;
• Manage the mechanical design budget;
• Work with purchasing department and suppliers for component selection.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Member of the OIQ;
• 10 years of experience in technical project management;
• Experience with pumps, ventilation, pneumatics, hydraulics or motor drives
• Competent with AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks;
• Asset: knowledge of manufacturing processes or electrical control;
• Bilingual.
