HVAC Drafter

Our client, a company specializing in building mechanical systems, is seeking an HVAC Drafter to prepare and oversee the development of drawings based on sketches, preliminary concepts, engineering calculations and technical specifications.

• Use various computer-aided design (CAD) software programs to produce drawings for HVAC mechanical systems;
• Provide installation teams with all necessary information to ensure proper and accurate installation;
• Ensure interdisciplinary coordination of the project;
• Validate drawing details and fabrication drawings;
• Interpret, understand, and apply SMACNA ductwork standards;
• Take field measurements on-site as required;
• Prepare lists of required hardware related to various projects.

Requirements:

• DEP or DEC in Building Mechanicsl Drafting/Design;
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC design;
• Proficient with CAD software (AutoCAD, CADMEP, Revit);
• Asset: Knowledge of BIM;
• Proficient in MS Office Suite;
• Driver's license;
• French, functional English.
