Technical Sales Rep - Industrial Safety Equipment

Our client, a supplier of industrial safety equipment, is looking for a Technical Sales Representative for the Montreal North area. You will be responsable for the entire sales process (prospecting, needs assessment, quoting, follow-up, closing, order preparation, commissioning, after-sales service)

• Research and evaluate potential prospects in your territory;
• Advise and assist customers from a technical standpoint in determining their needs and proposing solutions to their problems;
• Participate in the preparation of quotations and follow up with customers;
• Organize and deliver various types of presentations (product, health & safety, architects, etc.);
• Work with manufacturers to develop customized solutions for special applications;
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to increase satisfaction;
• Represent the Company at key industry and target market events;

Requirements:

• DEP in Mechanical or Electrical, or other relevant discipline;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Able to read blueprints or schematics;
• Ability to interpret installation plans and understand building or warehouse constraints;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365;
• Available for frequent road travel within your territory ($700 car allowance + fuel paid);
• Bilingual.
