Senior Civil Engineering Technician (AutoCAD)

Our client, an engineering consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineering Technician.

• Produce and revise technical plans and drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D;
• Participate in the design of civil engineering projects: roads, water and sewer systems, grading, urban development, etc.
• 3D modeling and prepare required technical deliverables;
• Coordinate plans with engineers, technicians, and other disciplines (surveying, mechanical, etc.);
• Ensure compliance of plans with municipal standards and contractual requirements;
• Participate in quantity estimates;
• Supervise and support more junior technicians.

Requirements:

• DEC in Civil Engineering technology, or equivalent training;
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role;
• Excellent knowledege/experience in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D;
• Good understanding of civil engineering and municipal infrastructure design standards;
• Remote work available (40%);
• French.
