Welder-Assembler (FCAW)

Our client, a major player in the cultural field, is looking for a person with solid experience in assembly-welding and installation of complex elements for a TEMPORARY position (4 to 8 weeks).

• Read and interpret the plans;
• Position the parts and temporarily assemble them;
• Set the welding parameters of the machine;
• Assemble and weld structures or mechanical-welded assemblies according to specifications;
• Operate overhead cranes and handle pieces of all sizes and weights;
• Execute the assembly steps (measure, mark, cut, clean, etc.);
• Maintain equipment and welding station;
• Check the quality of welds and parts and correct issues;
• Grind the parts;
• Accurately control dimensions during assembly and welding operations.

Requirements:

• DEP in Welding
• CWB certification;
• 3+ years of experience welding/assembly and work on sites;
• Excellent skills for Flux Core welding on steel;
• Able to read plans;
• French, functional English.

Status: TEMPORARY position (4 to 8 weeks).
