Maintenance Technician

Our client, a well-established company in the manufacturing field, is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.

• Complete a variety of mechanical work such as : pneumatic, hydraulic, basic and industrial electrical, PLC programming and welding;
• Verify maintenance parts inventory;
• Ensure the receipt of irregular parts that do not pass through the factory store;
• Follow and update the equipment preventive maintenance plan;
• Participate in special projects such as the reorganization of a production line and work related to continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate the work of the various subcontractors hired by the company for work requiring specific expertise;
• Verify on the control panel the location and cause of plant fire alarms, remedy to the extent you are able or notify the relevant authorities.

Requirements:

• DEC in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics or Maintenance Mechanics;
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance;
• Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, basic and industrial electrical, PLC programming and welding;
• Asset: Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs;
• French.
