Foreman - Machining

Our client, a leader in machining and fabrication for industrial clients, is looking for a Foreman.

• Ensure optimum production performance for best results within production deadlines;
• Manage team of 4 to 5 CNC machinists;
• Participate in employee performance evaluations;
• Plan the steps and production method for each contract and ensure follow-up;
• Production planning and monitoring;
• Ensure a safe work environment;
• Communicate relevant information to project managers;
• Select and recommend the purchase of new tools or equipment;
• Participate in the development of bids;

Requirements:

• DEP in Machining, Electromechanics, Welding or similar;
• At least 4 years of experience in personnel supervision;
• At least 3 years of experience in parts production, welding or similar;
• Ability to work on any type of machine;.
• Know how to use and calibrate measuring instruments;
• Able to interpret and understand drawings of complex parts;
• French, functional English.
