Building Codes and Standards Advisor

Our client, a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, is looking for a Building Codes and Standards Consultant.

• Compliance verification of plans for various construction projects;
• Interpret applicable codes and standards;
• Perform inspection and safety analysis of existing buildings;
• Prepare and document requests for equivalent/different measures;
• Support clients and staff in applying codes;
• Write technical reports;
• Perform technical assessments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Architecture or Engineering,
• Member of your professional order (OIQ or OAQ);
• At least 5 years of experience as an architect or engineer;
• Experience in the construction and real estate sector;
• Good knowledge of the Building Code;
• At ease writing technical documents;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Word;
• Bilingual (English clients).
