CNC Machinist

Our client, a leader in machining and fabrication for industrial clients, is looking for a CNC Machinist.

• Program, set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling on large complex pieces;
• Read specifications, plans, etc. to understand the needed steps;
• Program CNC machine tools;
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Conduct a test run;
• Adjust the machines to complete full cycles in order to manufacture a large number of parts;
• Monitor machines while they operate and make needed adjustments;
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance;
• Maintain machines to ensure proper functionality.

Requirements:

• DEP in machining, plus ASP in CNC machines (if less than 10 years of relevant experience);
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
• Experience in milling;
• Experience in programming on software such as Mastercam, Futurcam, Topsolid, Solidwork or others;
• Know how to use and calibrate measuring instruments;
• Asset: Experience using overhead cranes and forklifts;
• Flexible daytime schedule;
• French, functional English.
