Technical Inspector

Our client, a manufacturer of custom machined parts, is looking for a Technical Inspector.

• Inspect machined parts to ensure conformity, (visual or dimensional inspection);
• Analyze and annotate customer drawings;
• Prepare and perform inspections, then prepare reports;
• Contribute to the processing and identification of non-conformities;
• Model parts and assemblies according to requirements.
• Participate in the assembly of test benches and samples, as well as in the repair of problematic parts.

Requirements:

• DEP in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, Industrial Drafting or related field;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar field (assembly, quality control, drawings, conformity inspections);
• Understanding of technical drawings;
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software;
• Able to lift parts weighing up to 40lbs;
• Driver's license and access to vehicle (5% travel in the Greater Montreal Area);
• French, English (technical documentation).
