Mechanical Engineer (Solidworks)

Our client, a company specializing in computer vision systems and their applications, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

• Responsible for the mechanical portion of projects, participate in ensuring project delivery is in compliance with costs, deadlines and quality;
• Design prototypes and production systems and coordinate manufacturing with external suppliers;
• Supervise and participate in the assembly of mechanical, electrical and optical systems;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create solutions;
• Prepare and carry out acceptance tests for delivered equipment;
• Prepare and keep up to date parts and assembly drawings, BOMs and associated documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field; member of the OIQ;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a multidisciplinary engineering/manufacturing environment;
• Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks;
• Familiar with mechanical assembly procedures and tools, and electrical lab and test equipment and tools;
• Bilingual (English speaking clients).
