Mechanical Designer (3D)

Our client, a company specializing in commercial and industrial racking systems, is looking for a Mechanical Designer.

• Design 3D models of automated production equipment systems;
• Create documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance;
• Participate in machine development meetings;
• Technical support during assembly and commissioning of cells;
• Manage purchasing of parts and consumables;
• Monitor assembly and machine tests;
• Take measurements on site.

Requirements:

• DEC or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, or other pertinent field;
• 1 to 2 years (Bachelor's) or 3 to 5 years (DEC) of experience in automated machine design;
• Proficient in 3D drafting software (Inventor, Solidworks, Solidedge or AutoCAD);
• Familiar with DMAIC process;
• Occasional travel South Shore plant;
• Hybrid schedule up to two days of remote work;
• French, functional English.
