Our client, a fast growing SME in the food industry, is looking for a Production Supervisor.
- Management of production operations according to HACCP and SST standards;
- Supervise employees and ensure synergy to achieve objectives;
- Ensure availability of equipment for production;
- Ensure the production plan is followed;
- Manage contingencies, establish and revise production targets accordingly and in collaboration with other departments;
- Suggest continuous improvements to overcome observed problems or improve performance;
- Optimize the use of resources;
- Manage the unit budget, aiming to reduce costs;
- Establish an annual work plan.
- DEC in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Food Science and Technology;
- 5 years experience in supervision and operations management;
- Knowledge of SQF and HACCP standards;
- Experience in the food industry an asset;
- Excellent written and spoken French and good spoken English.
|Salary:||$50K to $55K depending on experience + fringe benefits|
